Jill Burgum, Heritage's executive director of fine jewelry, emphasized the diamond's unparalleled qualities, noting, "This diamond's sheer size is remarkable. When combined with its vivid fancy yellow hue, internal flawlessness, certified Kimberley origin, and the distinguished artistry of Pragnell, it forms a jewel of extraordinary caliber."

Beyond the Kimberley Sunshine, the diamond segment of the auction is robust, featuring a necklace adorned with a 22.06-carat round brilliant diamond, estimated at $80,000–$120,000. An Oscar Heyman ring showcases a 14.11-carat fancy yellow diamond, complemented by 4.33 carats of triangular diamonds, with an estimated value of $100,000–$150,000. A Carvin French ring, featuring a 7.02-carat oval diamond, is projected to sell for $100,000–$120,000. Additionally, a Tiffany & Co. ring, graced with a 5.76-carat fancy yellow diamond surrounded by calibré-cut near-colorless diamonds, carries an estimate of $50,000–$70,000.

The sapphire collection is equally impressive, including a pair of drop earrings with unheated Ceylon yellow sapphires totaling approximately 36.75 carats, valued at $35,000–$45,000. A ring set with an 18.81-carat unheated Ceylon yellow sapphire is estimated at $15,000–$20,000. Another highlight is a 17.45-carat Ceylon blue sapphire, expected to fetch $30,000–$50,000, alongside an unmounted 8.44-carat Burma sapphire, with an estimated price of $20,000–$30,000.

The auction also prides itself on a selection of iconic designer pieces from houses such as Buccellati, Bulgari, Cartier, JAR, Schlumberger, Van Cleef & Arpels, Verdura, and David Webb. Unique items include a Boris LeBeau nautical brooch that ingeniously transforms into a tabletop sculpture, estimated at $12,000–$18,000, and an playful de Grisogono brooch depicting an inverted monkey, adorned with yellow sapphires and diamonds, with an estimate of $8,000–$12,000.
